Social Contexts and Policies of Education (Academic Unit)Consortium for Higher Education Research in Asia

There has been increasing attention to how the development of the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) will strengthen innovation and integration for social and economic development of the region. From an educational perspective, GBA’s higher education system can contribute to sustainable development in fulfilling the specific demands of the industry in a knowledge economy, as well as increasing educational opportunities for underserved communities in fostering common goods. In the coming program of zoom forums, the researchers will share their findings and insights based on their articles to be published in the Special Issue of Asian Education and Development Studies, guest edited by Prof. Gerard Postiglione and Dr Alice Te.
